Welcome to Industry 4.0!
After a year of brainstorming, planning and creating we are excited to officially announce the Industry 4.0 Design Team at the University of Waterloo!
Industry 4.0 is the brainchild of the Management Engineering class of 2021. Our goal is to both provide an enhanced learning environment for Waterloo’s Management Engineering students, and to inspire young students in grades 11 and 12, by exposing them to Management Engineering concepts. The team is focused on data analytics in situations where the Internet of Things (IoT) is prevalent, or will be prevalent, and uses the Industry 4.0 context as the learning platform. The same problems exist in healthcare, law enforcement, and almost any situation when you look closely.
Currently, we are working towards launching the I4 Challenge for grade 11 and 12 students in January, 2019.
